Students did a project in class, where they had to carve an image that represents one of the Bill of Rights - Called the \"Bill of Rights Trading Cards\". They printed these on card stock, and made one print for every person in the class. Students had fun experimenting with different images, and figuring out the best ways to make their blocks visible and readable. \r\nThe impact of this project will carry on for many years, as students explore different ways to express themselves through symbols, images and different designs. They love using carving tools and ink to bring their designs to life.\r\nStudents enjoy sharing their work with others and get a chance to compare their work with other people's ideas. Students are also required to reflect on their process and write an artist statement in response to their work.
