The students are able to keep their dry erase boards, independent reading books, their notebooks, and picture dictionaries in their seat sacks. The seat sacks allow the students to have their materials easily accessible to them.\r\n\r\nSince the students were not expecting the seat sacks, they were pleasantly surprised to see them. They were excited to start using them. When they walked in this morning, I overheard all of them saying \"we got new seat sacks!\" The seat sacks enable them to keep frequently used items accessible to them, therefore saving the students time. Now when they need to get any of the items that are kept in their seat sacks, the items are right there for them to use. Even though we had seat sacks before, they were falling apart and they were also too big for the chairs, so their belongings were always falling out and onto the floor.\r\n\r\nThe students will continue to use the seat sacks for the rest of the school year. I will continue to use them with next years class and so on and so forth.
