My 25 Kindergarteners are in need of seat sacks to stay organized! Organization is so important in the classroom. I currently have dollar tree seat sacks to hold their notebooks, folders, books, and pencil cases. My students use their seat sacks every period of the day because they always need their materials. However, the seat sacks I currently have are not the best quality. They tend to break and fall apart very quickly. When this happens materials are often found on the floor instead of in the pocket.
This can be very frustrating for a young learner who desires to be responsible for their own items.
Also, many of our precious beginning reader books become damaged or ripped from their time spent on the floor, and headphone cords become tangled with chairs, posing a safety hazard. Your donation towards sturdy seat sacks will ensure my students have access to all of their learning materials. The seat sacks will also let my students store books that they love, no matter the size, without worrying about damaging them. Your donation will also save me costs on replacing leveled books geared towards their specific reading needs.
