What used to be a daily challenge of reaching limited outlets has been transformed into a smooth, uninterrupted learning environment. Extension cords at each table allows every student to stay engaged in coding activities, and the cable covers keep our classroom a safe, organized space where students (and I) can move freely without concern. The whiteboard posters have quickly become a go-to resource as well, and students have been regularly glancing up to reference key intro-Java structures.\r\n\r\nDuring a recent class activity, students worked together when starting a complex program for their level, and every group was able to stay fully engaged the entire period. It may seem like a small change, but having consistent access to power meant uninterrupted thinking, collaboration, and problem-solving.\r\n\r\nAs we move forward, students are beginning more complex projects, including designing their own interactive programs and tackling longer-term coding challenges. With reliable access to their devices and helpful visual reminders on the walls, they are better equipped to take risks and think creatively.
