When my students first saw the cabinets, they were amazed. Several immediately asked, \"Are these for all our art stuff?\" and they were excited to help decide where to place the items. It quickly turned into an impromptu organizing project that they took great pride in.\r\n\r\nThe cabinets now hold our paints, brushes, paper, and various art tools in a safe, organized, and easy-to-access way. Before, materials were spread out in different places, and we often lost valuable class time searching for what we needed. Now, students can quickly gather their supplies and dive right into creating. One student said, \"It feels like we have our own art studio now!\" This moment truly showed how meaningful this upgrade is.\r\n\r\nOur next steps involve continuing to create our wonderful art projects. With everything neatly stored and visible, students are exploring materials more confidently and independently. The cabinets are helping them develop habits of responsibility, care, and artistic preparation.\r\n\r\nThank you again for your support of our classroom. These cabinets have brought order, excitement, and a stronger sense of ownership to our creative environment. The math manipulatives we received—including magnetic fraction tiles, plastic fraction strips, fraction dominoes, Play-Doh sets for modeling, and additional hands-on fraction tools—have made abstract fraction concepts concrete, visual, and engaging for our students.\r\n\r\nIn the classroom, students are actively using these manipulatives to deepen their understanding of fractions. They use the magnetic fraction tiles and plastic strips to compare fractions visually, build equivalent fractions, and model addition and subtraction operations. The fraction dominoes have become a favorite activity for practicing fraction recognition and equivalence through engaging games. Students working with Play-Doh create three-dimensional models to represent fractions of a whole, which helps them visualize partitioning and understand the relationship between numerators and denominators. These hands-on experiences allow students to explore, manipulate, and discover fraction relationships through direct interaction, making mathematical reasoning more accessible and meaningful.\r\n\r\nYour donations are making a significant impact on student learning. These tools help close critical learning gaps in fraction understanding, increase student engagement and focus during math instruction, and build confidence in students who previously struggled with abstract concepts. The benefits extend beyond immediate learning—these manipulatives will continue to support current and future classes for years to come.\r\n\r\nThank you again for investing in our students' mathematical success. Your generosity is truly making a difference in their educational journey.","fullyFundedDate":1757518165861,"projectUrl":"project/help-our-students-master-fractions-with/9567168/","projectTitle":"Help Our Students Master Fractions with Hands-On Learning Tools","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Yang","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-2_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6315743"},{"teacherId":9364001,"projectId":9340467,"letterContent":"I cannot thank you enough for your generosity in making this project possible. The new technology has been such a powerful tool in our classroom, giving my students opportunities to learn, create, and engage in ways that were not possible before. With this resource, students are able to collaborate more effectively, access interactive lessons, and practice skills that directly support their reading, writing, and critical thinking growth. They are excited to use technology not just for play, but as a means to deepen their understanding and showcase their learning.\r\n\r\nWhat excites my students most about this new product is the sense of independence it gives them. They are able to research, draft, and present their work with confidence, which makes learning feel more personal and meaningful. One student in particular, who usually hesitates to participate in class discussions, has shown a new eagerness to contribute after using this technology to prepare her ideas. Seeing her light up with confidence has been a reminder of how impactful your support is.\r\n\r\nYour generosity has not only provided tools for learning but also inspired motivation, creativity, and joy in our classroom. My students look forward to using these resources every day, and I am deeply grateful to you for helping create an environment where they can thrive.","fullyFundedDate":1749119573092,"projectUrl":"project/from-wires-to-wireless-interactive-lear/9340467/","projectTitle":"From Wires to Wireless: Interactive Learning for ELA","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Viernes","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp9364001_orig.jpg?crop=2048,2048,x0,y0&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1746801482277","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/9364001"},{"teacherId":8920598,"projectId":9079043,"letterContent":"I don't have the words I'd need to fully describe my gratitude to you and those like you that helped fully fund my play therapy supply project and allowed me to bring so many wonderful therapeutic toys to my school therapy room.
