During the day small group time is a opportunity for me to work with groups of students to meet them at their specific needs. This time is meant to improve upon skills that are needed for them to succeed. Some groups are larger than others and having groups of desks together makes it difficult to have everyone's attention. Using a kidney table will allow me to work with the students in a way that is more beneficial for group work. I am able to see all the students and they are at arms length away from me. The table is designed in a way that will cause less distractions with the students. Students need to bee completely focused on the task that is presented to them. Supporting this project will give my students the opportunity to perform at the best of their ability.
