My students struggle to read their grade level text, making it harder for them to join discussions or debates, with this Kindle they can easily go back and forth on pages of the book that they are reading by listening to the text over and over until they remember details from the text. This will help them build their knowledge by acquiring more information through listening to the text over and over and at their own pace. Through this Kindle Device I am hopeful that my students will be more knowledgeable about the texts on their grade level because it will be more accessible to them, and it will help them with their struggle in reading. They are capable of debating and giving examples from their personal experiences but without knowledge from the text they will not go very far in the discussion they will have in the regular education class. This Listening Corner is designed to help my students be more equipped with the knowledge they need when they go back to their regular education class.
