The technology that you helped provide for our classes helped foster a virtually universal engagement that was accessible for students to operate. Each day most students would inquire, hopefully, if the plan for the day was to \"use the Microbits.\"\r\n\r\nThe Microbit kits allowed us to transition from the screen to the physical world. Coding language and design thinking could be applied to a physical experience for our students as they wore the devices and engaged the sensors to monitor their movements. The biggest support comes from the Microbit's ability to process machine learning data to accurately predict motion differences to track individual exercises and collect data. Students appreciated the opportunity to explore the cause and effect of their movements with the code they developed.\r\n\r\nThe ability to show students how science and technology merge to create the things we use everyday is one of the tenets we strive for at Whittier.
