It is such a fun way to end the school year and I look forward to this party all year.\r\n\r\nWe used the frames to put pictures of each child and teachers so that they had a keepsake to save forever from preschool. I have students that are in their 20's that still have this end of the year gift. We also created buckets for each child filled with bubbles, a beach ball, a Kindergarten book and sunglasses. \r\n\r\nWe then decorated the room in a fun Hawaiian theme and gave each child a Lei. The kids had the best time and I owe a big party of it to the donor's who helped make this project possible. Because of your kindness, our little ones were able to enjoy so many special items- shirts we had fun transforming into bright tie-dye creations, a framed picture of each child with the teachers to treasure for years to come and cheerful buckets filled with goodies. \r\n\r\nThese shirts were worn for field trips and end of the year school events, then given to each child to keep. Their genuine pride was visible when they could be seen smiling while wearing them as part of our pre-K crew! We loved taking pictures of each child wearing their Lei and glasses on our last day for our class slide show. \r\n\r\nYour thoughtfulness helped create not only wonderful keepsakes, but joyful experiences and memories for each child. The squishy balls have also been helpful with students who need the sensory break. \r\n\r\nThe Clorox wipes and Swifter Wet Jet pads have been very helpful in keeping our classroom clean. I clean our classroom every night before leaving for the day. I am so thankful to have the additional cleaning supplies to help keep us all healthy! They look forward to our recess time out there now because they know I will play music on the speaker. It creates a fun and lively environment and the students love dancing! They thought I was crazy when I was trying to show them how to do the \"Cha Cha Slide\" and sing to \"Let it Go\" like I was a karaoke queen! \r\n\r\nThey don't see the mop too much, but I know I was excited to get it. It works so well to give the classroom a thorough disinfecting mop down every Friday. This project gave all 18 of my students a present to open at our Holiday Party. Each child received a gift of a Mo Williams book (that we wrote in so they will remember pre-k) and a magna-doodle. They were so excited when they opened their gifts. \r\n\r\nOur students were also able to decorate ornaments during our party and decorate cookies. We used the wooden ornaments and the fun sprinkles to decorate cookies and then to make reindeer food. \r\n\r\nWe used the stickers to help count during centers and the catch and throw during recess. We had our Holiday party yesterday and watching these children's (and parent's) faces light up with delight when they opened their gift of the Mo Williams' book and Magna doodle was the best gift of all. \r\nI hope to share some of the excited expressions from them in our pictures so that you, too, can feel the love. \r\nIn addition, we use the Clorox wipes daily to try to prevent illnesses in our classroom. \r\n Those were essential items that we truly needed and appreciate.\r\nThe outdoor toys were no longer available, so we used your donation to purchase paint pens and the students love to use them to create artworks that express their many feelings and personalities. \r\nIt is extremely powerful to partner with you to continue to give to our school community. Together, we are making this world and the children of our future ..... better.
