My students typically do not have the privilege of going home to computers and tablets on which to play and explore. Being at a Title I school, they are often happy just to have a hot meal when they get home from school. Being excited about a piece of fancy, up-to-date technology for them to do their school work on is something to motivate them to want to not only come to school, but also to participate and learn more while also having fun! These tablets will be loaded full of educational apps to help them with literacy as well as math skills.
