The acquisition of the chair and timer will allow BOTH classes of our Maritime students to pursue their IBCs and other opportunities simultaneously.\r\n\r\nAbout 97% of our students are from low-income households and simply do not have access to the equipment to show their work/projects within a professional environment.\r\n\r\nWe have two Maritime magnet classes that will simultaneously be using this equipment for their various and on-going projects. \r\n\r\n\r\nThese items will help our students actively compete for positions at Maritime-based companies.
