Because of your support, our classroom has been filled with creativity, excitement, and meaningful learning experiences. The art supplies you provided have given my students the opportunity to express themselves in new ways while making connections to the artwork and artists we have been studying through our McNay Spotlight program.\r\nOne of my favorite moments was watching my students eagerly explore the new materials during our art projects inspired by the museum. They were excited to use real artist-quality supplies to create their own masterpieces, carefully choosing colors, experimenting with different techniques, and proudly sharing their work with their classmates. Many of my students are emergent bilingual learners, and these art projects have given them another way to communicate their ideas, emotions, and understanding beyond words. Their confidence and creativity have truly blossomed as they realized they could create artwork just like the artists they have been learning about.\r\nAs we continue our McNay Spotlight journey, we will use these materials to create even more projects that encourage observation, storytelling, and creative thinking. The most exciting part is that our students' artwork will be displayed at the McNay Museum in late 2026 through early 2027, allowing them to experience the pride of seeing their own creations exhibited in a museum. This incredible opportunity will inspire them to continue exploring their creativity while strengthening important skills such as collaboration, problem-solving, and self-expression. Thank you for making these unforgettable experiences possible. Your kindness has created lasting memories and has inspired a love of learning and the arts that my students will carry with them for years to come.","fullyFundedDate":1771828081872,"projectUrl":"project/inspiring-creativity-through-museum-part/9982618/","projectTitle":"Inspiring Creativity Through Museum Partnerships","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Silva","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5494939_orig.jpg?crop=1:1,smart&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1610393526044","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/k-dunsford"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_107510","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":975,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":95,"percentAsian":0,"percentBlack":6,"percentWhite":4,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":87,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":0,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 12","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":true,"metroType":"URBAN","ncesMetroType":"CITY_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":48.8,"schoolId":107510,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about Jubilee San Antonio on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"Jubilee San Antonio","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/texas/texas-department-of-education/athlos-leadership-academy/107510"}
