Students are also improving their literacy skills by reading in the fresh outdoor air during library time, searcing for items in their nature guides during STEM Fridays, and fidning calming outdoor spaces for independent reading opporuntities outside of the school day. Because these markers are high quality, they will last well beyond this school year, making them a reliable classroom staple rather than something that constantly needs replacing.\r\n\r\nWhen the students first saw the large supply, they were thrilled—several of them even said, \"We won't have to share the dried-out ones anymore!\" In our Title I school, where 90% of students receive free or reduced lunch, many families struggle to provide extra materials. Parents have expressed so much gratitude knowing they won't be asked to purchase more Expo markers throughout the year. Many of them asked if they'd ever get to sit in \"the big chair,\" and their faces lit up when I explained how it would be used for presentations and rewards. It is seeing their numbers grow each quarter that is an added bonus for them. They love to track their progress and share with their teachers how far they have come!\r\nYour heart for students you haven't even met has impacted each and every one of my students and in turn, we all win!
