We felt like it was Christmas morning. I had already planned some exciting activities to go along with each book. The class was so interested in Flat Stanley that we read it first. I printed a chapter guide/workbook to go along with vocabulary and enhance reading comprehension. The students then did a comparison writing with the brothers Stanley and Arthur. They were so good and gave so many details with descriptive words. They were able to compare the two so well because they read the words and were able to connect with the book on a deeper level. They all did so well on their assessment too! Interesting books make all the difference. \r\n\r\nI can't wait to have them dive into the The Littles. They are going to be using their imaginations and the projects should be amazing!
