We read the book The Art Lesson and talked about how we can be artists in the classroom. My students felt so special being able to use their own paint brushes, paint palettes and cups. Something as small as being able to actually use water to change paint colors made them feel like TRUE artists and opened up their world of art so much more than we were able to do before!\r\n\r\nMeanwhile, the Magna Tile center is the newest hit of the classroom, with students always requesting to go their first to create and engineer buildings and cities. \"We have a real road!\" they often exclaim thanks to the amazing magnetic tile expansion pack. Having people to use in this center has turned this into a true pretend play opportunity.\r\n\r\nThank you so much for your thoughtfulness. Sometimes I Ce help a student who comes late and misses breakfast or a new pre K student who doesn't like any of lunch choices. \r\nSnacks may seem like a simple thing to have- but they are hard to maintain and I go through them so fast.
