My students are the greatest kids in the world. Every morning we begin the day with the words, "We are Armistead Gardens, The Best School in Baltimore." We are a high-poverty, title one school located in East Baltimore. We are a diverse school with our students representing over 20 nations of family origin. A large percent of our students have families that speak a primary language other than English. We love our sports at Armistead, and participate in soccer, track, basketball, and baseball. We even have a 9-hole frisbee golf course on our campus. Despite the language barriers many of our students have when entering our school, we are consistently one of the highest performing k-8 schools in the city. We are an anti-bulling school, and both students and staff strive to have a learning environment where all students feel safe. Everyone learns here at Armistead, and everyone grows!
