Our class set of The Tragedy of Julius Caesar by William Shakespeare allowed us to connect History and ELA as students gained historical knowledge while building vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, and close-reading skills.\r\n\r\nWe also received a copy of A Wish in the Dark, which introduced students to different cultures, experiences, and perspectives. Literature like this helps broaden students' understanding of the world beyond their own community.\r\n\r\nThese materials have helped make our classroom a richer and more engaging place to learn.
