It has quickly become a hub for our daily routines, supporting whole-group instruction, small-group work, and flexible seating during station rotations. It also provides a cozy, inviting space for our students to read with their sixth-grade book buddies while reinforcing foundational skills like literacy and numeracy.\r\n\r\nWe are currently using the carpet as a collaborative base for our butterfly science project. Students gather in partner groups to observe and discuss the development of our caterpillars, and they love the coincidence of sitting on the carpet's butterfly illustrations while they learn.
