The variety of tools we received—such as interactive devices, STEM kits, audio-visual equipment, and classroom accessories—has allowed students to explore lessons in new and exciting ways. These resources have made instruction more dynamic and helped bridge learning gaps by accommodating different learning styles. Students who were once hesitant to participate now feel more confident using technology to collaborate, create, and demonstrate their understanding.\r\n\r\nBeyond engagement, the donated technology has also helped build critical 21st-century skills. My students are learning to problem-solve, think creatively, and use digital tools responsibly and effectively. Having access to this equipment has encouraged innovation and curiosity, especially during project-based learning and group work. It has also supported me as a teacher, making it easier to differentiate instruction and incorporate interactive, multimedia components into lessons. Even without computers or iPads, these tools have transformed the classroom environment into a more connected, modern, and inspiring place to learn.","fullyFundedDate":1546021268623,"projectUrl":"project/technology-take-down/3698972/","projectTitle":"Technology Take-DOWN!","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Ramsey","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://cdn.donorschoose.net/images/placeholder-avatars/272/teacher-placeholder-6_272.png?auto=webp","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5933430"},{"teacherId":8122850,"projectId":8568177,"letterContent":"Thank you for your donations! My students are loving the new resources that you provided for our second grade classroom. We are using many of these materials to build classroom community. The beanbags and art supplies for a project have been such a great addition to my room. \r\n\r\nThe new cozy space in my classroom is used daily during work time in my third, fourth and fifth grade classes. Kids love to sit here when using their computers rather than in desks like they do the rest of their day. Kindie, first and second graders are using them as a reading station and the amount of kids who chose that station is at an all time high! \r\n\r\nWe used the sharpies and faces for a who am I project where kids learned how people around the world all look different and why that is so awesome. We learned about skin color and used the faces to try to match each child's skin. They also learned about hair and clothing to add to the projects.
