Kids are asked to sit a good portion of the day while they are at school. Why not give them a choice of something that gets their wiggles out and allows them to move around while still being respectful by remaining seated? Flexible seating is so important to my educational philosophy- to be able to allow kids a place to sit where they can still move and get their wiggles out is crucial. My 2nd graders will use the wobble stools in order to be able to move around while sitting at their tables. The plastic bins will be used to store individual supplies in since our traditional desks will be forgone. We will use the long wooden storage cubby as one of our new "desk" options which will double as storage and a hard surface to write on. The lap desks will be a wonderful addition to giving yet another flexible seating option in the classroom.
