We are so grateful for the opportunity to use new and exciting technology that challenges our students to problem-solve and work together.\r\n\r\nIt has been very fun for my students to figure out what each Cubelet does and how they function when connected together in different ways. It's nice that the set can be used with or without an additional device so it has served as a great off-screen coding option for my STEM classes and small-group enrichment sessions I have throughout the week.\r\n\r\nWe will continue to utilize the Cubelet robot during our current coding curriculum unit and now that the students have a good feel for how it works, they will start to work through the set of challenge cards. They are also excited to use the brick adapter pieces to create Cubelet robots with Lego additions as well. Your contribution went to pencil caddies that sit on the tables so the students are able to share supplies like pencils and crayons. We also purchased book bins for the students to have during private reading time in order for them to gain exposure to reading and help them acquire a love for reading. The students love the smelly markers. They love using the smelly markers and telling what smell they are. \r\n The classroom favorite spot to sit is on the couches! We have a couch in the front of the room by the carpet and then two chairs in the library. The go to spot in our classroom is the comfy chairs in the library.
