Our classroom is transforming one step at a time. We are developing a child-friendly space for students to grow and develop into lifelong learners. We have been developing our libraries and we are now focusing on instructional areas for small group learning. A small group table for guided reading and math would benefit students. This would enable me to meet with students in a setting that is comfortable and developmentally appropriate for them. An area with this type of seating would increase proximity to the students which would increase engagement. Overall, this would enhance their learning experiences in third grade!
