This mock trial will allow students to apply what they learn in the book, practice persuasive speaking, and collaborate in meaningful roles—building critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills. Lei and the Fire Goddess will guide students in exploring cultural themes and mythology, culminating in each student writing a poem about a god or goddess of their choice and creating an art piece inspired by their writing.\r\n\r\nThe new carpet has also enhanced our physical learning environment, making it more welcoming, organized, and conducive to collaboration.
