Your gifts have had a profound impact on our classroom, and I want to share the wonderful changes you made possible.\r\nThe biggest transformation came from the new plastic storage bins. Before, our art supplies were in a chaotic jumble, making it difficult for students to find what they needed. The disorganization could sometimes be overwhelming for young children. Now, with the materials neatly organized in the new bins, our learning environment feels functional and calm. I've watched my students take huge steps toward independence as they learned to be responsible for their supplies. It is so wonderful to see them walk over to the shelf, confidently grab the correct bin, and get started on their art projects without any frustration. \r\nThe floor dots have been another simple yet highly effective addition. Transitions can be a challenge for young students, but using the colorful dots for lining up has made a huge difference in our classroom management. It has turned a once chaotic moment into a peaceful and orderly process. Our students now know exactly where to go, which has helped create a more respectful and calm environment as we transition from art to our next activity.\r\nFinally, the light hanging hooks were the perfect finishing touch we needed. Before, the harsh, bright fluorescent lighting was a huge sensory issue for some of my students, making it hard for them to feel relaxed and focused. With the new secure hooks, we have been able to hang string lights that fill the room with a soft, warm glow. This has created a special and soothing atmosphere that has changed the entire mood of our classroom. For some of my students who are sensitive to the harsh overhead lights, this has been truly transformative. Your gifts have helped us create a space where every student feels comfortable and ready to learn.\r\nThank you again for believing in my students and supporting our classroom. Your contributions have had a real and positive impact on our daily routines and learning environment.","fullyFundedDate":1755709649060,"projectUrl":"project/please-help-us-get-organized-for-art/9445813/","projectTitle":"Please Help Us Get Organized for Art","teacherDisplayName":"Mrs. Largent","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp6559165_orig.png?crop=1442,1442,x98,y284&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1566428986717","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/6559165"},{"teacherId":6559165,"projectId":8485218,"letterContent":"I cannot express to you enough, the gratitude and appreciation for your kindness and willingness to give towards \"Creating a Room Students Want to Belong In\". \r\nStudents in our classroom, have been enjoying and benefiting from our calm corner. The chair, pillows, lighting and rug create a comfortable space for students to assist them in regulating themselves. The fidget toys have come in handy to give them an item to focus on while they get themselves back in control. \r\nOur new hand vacuum helps our students learn and feel responsible for our space, creating a deeper connection to our classroom space.
