During moments when a student becomes upset, overwhelmed, or simply needs a quiet break to regulate their emotions, they're able to step into the space, take a breath, and return to learning when they're ready. Our next steps include teaching students how to independently choose strategies that help them manage their feelings and stay focused on their learning. We do get those weeks when the temperature dips to the 20's and 30's in the daylight hours.
