Homelessness and unemployment are very real in my school community. Most of my 3 to 5 year-olds families do not have basic needs so these snacks will be extra special for my sweet students. Snacks will make my sweet students brains continue to function at full speed. Brain slump is real, we have all been there. That afternoon coffee, that helps us make it till the end of the day. Snacks like these are a luxury in my students' community, not an everyday occasion. My students will be able to level up to other students where families send or bring snacks to class to school.
