With your generous donations the kids at Mitchell Elementary will walk into an atmosphere of love and learning. I have planned lessons where students will not only read silently to themselves but will read to other students. I have purchased magazines for students to read upon entering the library. This will allow students the opportunity to read short articles before the lesson of the day is taught. The seating will be used as an area to accomplish this goal. The games are for the last ten minutes for those students that finish first. We will also use for rainy day games.
