We are a Title I, New York City Public School located in Queens. P.S. 242 is a unique and inviting early childhood school (Pre-K through 3rd Grade) where diversity is celebrated and students excel. We are dedicated to providing a safe, nurturing, & intellectually stimulating environment where every child, including English Language Learners (ELL), and students with Special Needs, will achieve high academic standards while developing a positive self-image and good citizenship.
