My Project

As yearbook photographers at our school, a Title One school, we capture the essence of our diverse community. Our students, who face daily social injustices, use photography in our yearbook to articulate their views and advocate for change, documenting their world authentically.

To deepen our exploration of social issues, we aim to acquire the Sony 2.0x Teleconverter Lens, a tool that will enable us to capture detailed images of often overlooked distant scenes like environmental degradation and urban development, thereby providing a broader narrative on societal challenges.

Why the Sony Teleconverter Lens?

It will enable photography of distant subjects, enriching our narrative on community issues, maintain photo integrity, crucial for impactful storytelling.

It will enhances learning about lens technology and its application in social advocacy.

This lens will empower our students to capture images of remote areas affected by social disparities, offering insights into systemic inequalities. It will encourage more nuanced stories that promote social change.

Our photos will foster understanding and inspire community dialogue on pressing social issues.
