My Students

All the students at the school I teach live in poverty. Many of the students in my school have faced trauma in their lives as well.

My students this year are so kind and hard-working and they love school!

Despite their life challenges, they always come to school with smiles on their faces and are eager to learn.

My Project

Lunchtime for my kindergarten students is not until 12:35 each school day. After having breakfast at 8:00, this is a long time for the children to wait to eat again. They often tell me that they're hungry around 11:00, so it would be wonderful to have an assortment of snack choices for the students to have around this time to eat a delicious snack!

If they are hungry during instruction, it is hard for them to focus on their work.

Please help keep these little ones' tummies full and happy!
