Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

Snacks are so important in getting our students through the long day at school. They do so much better when being provided a variety of options for snacks. They are able to get all of their needs met at school. When they are hungry, they are more likely to show big behavior or to be more irritable. With providing a snack, it helps eliminate that.

Our school has a very high number of low income families. Our students get 100% free lunches. With that being said, requesting snacks from home can cause stress and can be an issue.
