My students have been so excited to have such nice materials to complete their projects. We have been able to undertake many fun and informative art assignments thanks to your generous donations!\r\n\r\nThe acrylic markers have been phenomenal. They worked perfectly for students to decorate their rocks for veterans. They were able to draw and color in small details. The markers were also used to decorate their clay Christmas ornaments and cardboard sculpture project. These markers are being used on a daily basis!\r\nThe wheat paste is utilized to construct students' masks inspired by many cultures. They look forward to making their masks and the paste helps hold all the layers of paper together for a strong base. \r\n\r\nThese materials have not only enhanced this 2025-26 semester but will also be used for projects in the upcoming 2026-2027 school year. Every assignment in art is project based and requires a plethora of materials. Thanks to your generous donation, we have been able to create art with top-notch materials. Their fine-motor skills and cultural understandings are enriched when utilizing the creating projects. The morning of the snow storm, two of us packed as many food boxes and food bags as possible and made deliveries to families in urgent need. \r\n\r\nToday is Friday and was also the first day back to school. All of our fourth grade students were eager to help prepare food bags and get them out to students as quickly as possible.
