Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

This school year my students' lunch time has been moved to 12:20 p.m. The school starts at 9:00 a.m. They can't wait for more than three hours to get their next meal. They get very hungry by 11:00 am, subsequently effecting their focus and learning. I have been providing snacks to my students, but I would like to offer them a variety which unfortunately becomes too pricey for me.

Healthy snacks help manage kids' hunger and boost nutrition, which results in enhanced focus on learning.

A quick snack break can rejuvenate students and give them more energy for learning.

My young TK students are very resilient, and they are very appreciative of the small snacks offered to them.
