They are excited to play tic tac toe with a partner and learn different strategies for winning the game. It's so nice that they have options to play games such as Break the Ice and Mr. Mouth. These games can be played with four students at at time. \r\n The all time favorite item from our project has been the magnetic tiles. Students really enjoy building various things. Sometimes it's a competition to see who can build the tallest tower and other times they want to make racing vehicles. And I saw so much more empathy towards the fasting students from the non-fasting ones. The artifacts and books really helped to learn more about Muslim traditions, including many African-American folks who altered the course of history. \r\n\r\nMoreover, it was great to inspire my students to learn more about the contributions made by Black / African-American people.
