Like I mentioned before, we study so many subjects and concepts, it is imperative my students have their hunger satisfied. Couple hunger with trying to learn English as a second or third language, and an educational opportunity may be squandered.\r\n\r\nLastly, I want to recognize sacrifice you made to fund this project as it may have compromised your next meal. And, it allows the girls to really awaken and release that inner strength, whether it's academic, social, physical, mental and spiritual, if I can say that. \r\n\r\nAs a teacher, I always say, \"Look in the Mirror\" first. I must be willing to face my own biases if I am to ask my students, boys and girls, to do the same. Some of these thoughts and beliefs are so ingrained we aren't even conscious or aware of them coming out of us. \r\n\r\nYour generosity is the spark some in my classroom need, and for others it's a set of books to further strengthen their foundation as they internalize, \"You're Stronger Than We Made You Believe.\"","fullyFundedDate":1767223326363,"projectUrl":"project/dont-do-that-youre-stronger-than-we-m/9751207/","projectTitle":"Don't Do That!
