My Project

I went into teaching because I want to make a difference; even if it’s the smallest difference, in children’s lives. This is my second year teaching and I just recently earned my CDA, as I continue to keep learning and improving my teaching style, my students end up making a difference in my life, telling me their interests and what they would like in the classroom and in turn I can put those interests out in the centers.

My students have such creative minds!

“Hi, would you like a stamp for your mail?” “Yes, can I have the blue stamp? I’d like to deliver it to my friend (insert friends name here)” Our Mail and Friendship theme is just around the corner and I want to implement a post office dramatic play! I like to have 4 kids playing in the dramatic play area. I believe having those 4 children in post boy and post girl outfits would give them the experience to be a real postman! I imagine them using the hats and vests, and carriers to deliver the mail around the classroom. I know my students have creative minds so I’m sure they’ll come up with a fun way to incorporate the items I’m asking for.
