This project is part of the Black History Month celebration because it supports a Black teacher or a school where the majority of the students are Black.
My Students
Wouldn't you want to have pictures of some of your most memorable Kindergarten experiences? My students do too but they can't because we don't have a digital camera.
My students are not just the sum of their parts but much more.
They are more than the 99.8% free or reduced lunch rate at the school, the crime rate in the neighborhood, or the low socioeconomic level of their households.
My students are an energetic group of 5 and 6 year olds who are excited about learning. They are ready to become life long learners with your help.
My Project
With a camera in our classroom my students would have the opportunity to take photographs of their friends and of the activities that they engage everyday. In addition, we will use the camera to make classroom books, document science experiments and learning progress.
With you generous donation, my students will get the opportunity to become reflective, scientific, and to appreciate the beauty of themselves.
They will reflect on what they have learned and begin to decide what they want to explore in the future. They will begin to see the world in a scientific way by asking questions and solving problems. They will begin to see that they are beautiful no matter where that come from or what they look like. Please help our class get a camera!!!
