Help me give my students a Scrolling Message Marquee Sign. The marquee will be used in the classroom to post homework assignments, student recognition announcements, and class news. The students will love seeing their names up on the marquee!

Celebrating Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month
This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because
it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.
A typical day in my classroom involves a lot of movement, collaboration among students, and a comfortable learning environment. The students in my room from our school are eager, full of vigor, and very active.
My population is a mix of multi-level English Language Learners and English Only students.
We are a Title I school with a lot of school pride. Both our staff and our student body are proud of our school, our accomplishments, and the direction we are heading as 21st century learners.
My Project
Everybody loves to see their name up in lights. As a young student, nothing is more important than recognition for a job well done. In my fourth grade classroom, we take time each day for shout outs and moments of recognition for those students who are giving a great effort and contributing to our class community.
We have a pretty busy schedule with drama, music, PE, dance, and ELD added to our core subjects, and getting praise and the news out to students is important.
Most times, our whiteboards are filled with work from the day. We would like to have a rolling marquee to put announcements and praise up for everyone to see in bright lights.
By donating to our project, you will give my students an alternative way to get their praise, news, and class announcements up in bright lights that are easy and exciting to see. Students will love to see the important happenings of our class and school in a way that no one else has, and this will make our classroom even more special to them than it already is!
