Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

The items in this project will make a meaningful difference in student learning by fostering a calm and welcoming environment. With access to calming sensory materials, quiet activities, and self-regulation tools, students are encouraged to take ownership of their emotions and refocus when needed.

My goal is to create a classroom that feels peaceful, safe, and perfectly suited for learning.

These supports not only nurture a positive classroom atmosphere but also help students build lifelong skills in self-awareness and self-control—allowing them to be more present, engaged, and successful in their learning journey.

The unique and diverse needs of my students make them truly special, and providing a safe, supportive space where every child can thrive is my highest priority.
