My Project

A variety of good books will encourage young learners to read every single day and learn about about their world. Reading strengthens the brain, increases the ability to emphasize, builds vocabulary, reduces stress, and aids sleep.

I want 2nd graders to look forward to reading everyday when I provide them with 30 minutes to emerge themselves in a good book.

Second grade is the the perfect time to build good reading habits that will benefit them during their entire education as well as their life. I want children who are eager to know more to have access to a variety of literature.
