My Project

Nea is a school that truly supports learners to be their best selves. Learners work to engage in deep learning across content areas. Starting in 4th grade, our young learners attend content specific classes such as humanities, math and science for a minimum of 1 hour a day. Learners have the privilege of working with each of these content facilitators for 3 years, building relationships and academic knowledge.

In our project based learning classrooms, these materials will support the learners to elevate their scientific, written and mathematical understanding.

They will be able to take notes, plan out their thinking and engage with online materials using the headphones. The notebooks, pencils and pens will help learners better organize their thinking and plan for their projects. Projects range from water conservation, to simple machines to even designing a biosphere on Mars!

Each project that learners work on help them gain academic skills while contextualize their understanding in their lives and the lives of others
