Since taking over as the Data and Assessment Coordinator, my goal has been to create a similar experience for all learners in each classroom! This means that no matter what grade level or class they are in, the material will be consistent across the board. \r\n\r\nThese headphones will help support learners through their testing experience. The headphones, being nice and cushioned, are such a draw for learners since our day-to-day headphones are on that! The learners are so excited to get to open and use them. We got the rug a few months ago, and it has truly become the heart of our classroom and our main gathering spot. We use it every day for circle time, morning meeting, mini-lessons on the rug, and story time. Having enough space for all students to sit comfortably has made a noticeable difference in how smoothly these activities run.\r\n\r\nWhen students first saw the new rug, they were excited and immediately gathered on it. Everyone now has a clear place to sit, which helps students stay focused and feel included during whole-group lessons. Right now, we continue using the rug daily to answer questions, listen to stories, and learn together. Thank you for helping us create a welcoming space where everyone fits.","fullyFundedDate":1755928183611,"projectUrl":"project/room-to-wiggle-room-to-learn/9591006/","projectTitle":"Room to Wiggle, Room to Learn!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Neault","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp10175476_orig.png?crop=203,203,x0,y14&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1755127886647","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/10175476"},{"teacherId":5736708,"projectId":9508103,"letterContent":"We have had an incredible 4 months so far in this school year! Tk-3rd grade learners have been having rich creative experiences each week during dance and music. Learners have explored the elements of dance with lots of support from new materials. Some of these include easy to use wooden instruments, colorful scarves, play doh for shape sculpting, new books that support performance art and social emotional learning as well as other manipulative tools that support tactile, sensory and other learning experiences.\r\n Each time I introduce something new to our curriculum, learners et vey excited and they are eager to make new discoveries. One of the best parts of your generosity allows me to integrate different new tools and resources throughout the year and rotate the fan favorites! \r\nI look forward to continuing to try out new tools , esp some of the literary resources that connect to certain curricular themes . The opportunity to spirally teach material that is age appropriate for each age allows for progression to the next year with additional learners experiencing those tools.\r\nI have noticed that by having more resources around that more learners can be supported through the tougher days and find success in each class. On beahlf of the TK-3rd Grade Learners, thank you again for your tremendous support for keeping Performing Arts learning at Nea.","fullyFundedDate":1755792155801,"projectUrl":"project/creative-dance-music/9508103/","projectTitle":"Creative Dance & Music!","teacherDisplayName":"Ms. Alisa","teacherPhotoUrl":"https://storage.donorschoose.net/dc_prod/images/teacher/profile/orig/tp5736708_orig.jpg?crop=2316,2316,x0,y679&width=272&height=272&fit=bounds&auto=webp&t=1754078550112","teacherClassroomUrl":"classroom/5736708"}],"pageName":"schoolpage_97613","usesDonorsChoose":true,"infoPageType":"school","demographicsInfo":{"numStudents":442,"numTeachers":null,"percentFrplEligible":32,"percentAsian":15,"percentBlack":13,"percentWhite":24,"percentIndigenous":0,"percentLatinx":28,"showFreeAndReducedPriceLunchInfo":true,"showDemographicsInfo":true,"sourceTooltipString":"the National Center for Education Statistics","percentHawaiianImputed":0,"percentMultiracialImputed":17,"gradesServed":"Pre-K - 8","studentTeacherRatio":null,"demographicsDataSource":"MDR School","equityFocus":true,"titleOne":false,"metroType":"SUBURBAN","ncesMetroType":"SUBURB_LARGE"},"inStateSupporters":84.4,"schoolId":97613,"financialInfo":null,"twitterShareText":"Learn more about NEA Community Learning Center on @DonorsChoose:","schoolName":"NEA Community Learning Center","canonicalPageUrl":"schools/california/alameda-unified-school-district/nea-community-learning-center/97613"}
