Our students love and hate when we have puberty talks. We will be embarking on our school's puberty journey in the Spring and want to ensure that we can make puberty packs for all students. Puberty already stinks and we want to make sure students are not self conscious about their bodily changes. We are educating our 5th grade students on these changes occurring in their body and showing then how normal they are. We will be educating boys and girls on the correct anatomical terms for the parts of their body, and the changes their body will begin to have. We will also be going over using pads and pantyliners with our girls and how to handle your first period, and proper ways to wash your body and hygiene with our boys. These travel kits are the perfect addition to our students bookbags for those uncomfortable moments where they need additional menstrual supplies, or forgot to apply deodorant in the morning.
