My Students
I have the privilege of teaching a precocious group of students with very diverse backgrounds. What I love most about my students is how inquisitive they are. They are problem solvers and possess a deep curiosity about the world that surrounds them. My students are ecstatic to have the chance to explore different types of learning in my classroom. With their can-do attitudes and fresh start to the new school year, my students are ready for their next challenge.
I teach at a Title I School in Nevada in which 95% of my students live at or below the poverty line.
Despite their hardships, my students are eager to learn; they truly are future scholars in the making. My students want to see their community change for the better and they believe that they can be a catalyst to that change. I've been inspired by their passion. They want to create a world that breeds love, hope, and prosperity. I have made it my mission to help them create such a world.
My Project
My school strives to provide my students with the tools they need to achieve their individual academic goals. One of the tools we use to encourage learning is our online math and literacy programs. These programs are research-based and designed to improve and enhance the students' capabilities and allow students to learn at the best possible pace for them. My students love these programs and it makes learning more fun for them while providing them with individual challenges. These programs have already shown tremendous impact in our students' progress with math and reading skills and we want them to keep working hard. However, part of the required tasks for many of these programs involves the students listening to a prompt or question to assess their understanding of important concepts.
My students need Avid headphones so they can complete all the required tasks of their online academic programs and improve their crucial, lifelong skills.
The headphones will allow my students to complete the all portions of their online programs and achieve the highest levels of progress in their mastery of English and math. These headphones will facilitate my students in their quest to learn how to read, write, and do all manners of problem solving. Most importantly, this addition will help prevent them from falling behind in these vital skills and allow them to achieve the highest level of their academic potential. These headphones will make a real difference for every student in my class for the entire duration of the school year.
