This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Project

If funded, this project would provide picture book biographies for our school library from two acclaimed series of books: Ordinary People Change the World, and Little People, Big Dreams.

These inspirational, narrative, non-fiction titles will introduce our students to real life ordinary people who did amazing things, and hopefully show them that they can do the same!

These stories will be appealing to kids because they are written like a story, and have fun illustrations. We truly can change the world with one book and one spark of enthusiasm and imagination at a time!
