My Project

This project includes yoga mats and yoga cards for students to practice. In class we have been using recess time to practice asana, the physical practice of yoga and meditate before heading back to the classroom. This has been such a positive change in our classroom environment. Students are able to relax, focus, and stay calm during transition times into the classroom from specials or recess.

Yoga has changed the dynamic and vibe of the students in the class.

We have just been moving desks and practicing in the middle of our class. I would love to provide students with mats and yoga cards to practice moves and create their own sequences.
