My Students

I have the privilege of teaching some of the most talented and intelligent students in Camden, New Jersey.

Each day, my students and I challenge each other to transcend mediocrity; to never settle for anything less than our very best.

In my years of teaching here in a city that has its share of challenges, I have found that a tremendous light of success and talent shines in the city's youth. It is now our responsibility to allow that light to shine brightly in all they do.

My Project

Our students are given computers from the district with very basic needs. In our yearbook group, the students need access to a Mac computer that can help take their pictures and designs to go above and beyond.

This opportunity will allow them to see the different programs they can use to design on the computer so that their yearbooks can compete with the ones in neighboring town.

This computer will help our students feel confident in learning new technically and feel like they can be successful if they want to pursue this career in college.

This project will directly impact historically underfunded classrooms.
