Year in Review

Help me give my students end-of-school-year gifts to make their summer amazing and great.

This project expired on May 1, 2022.

My Students

Our kindergarten students are full of life and personality, ready to tackle their learning and education. The kids in my class are curious and learn using technology and manipulatives in the classroom. The students are part of a rapidly changing society. Aside from whole group instruction, we spend the bulk of our time working in stations and doing independent work.

My Project

The materials I am requesting will be used to reward students for conquering an interesting school year. At the end of the school year, this is used as a stress reliever and it is a chance for the students to reflect on all of their hard work being rewarded. I want to use the resources with them at end of the year for a fun and educational craft that they deserve. Some of the materials are building on prior knowledge by having the kids create a summer shirt, since we learned about clothes when we were in different seasons. Another item in this project is folders for the students to put all of the work they have made and completed compiled into one. The students are creating portfolios and one of the materials is Shrinky Dinks. Students have been learning about how various changes can affect the environment around us. The Shrinky Dinks change when their environment is changed. I am also asking for laminating paper for the kids to laminate their end of year letters about "Things We Learned in Kindergarten"

Our kindergarteners have worked super hard and I would like for my kids to take home nice craft and educational resources for summer break.

Our students have been faced with difficult challenges this past year, along with their parents. I understand that summer break begins in May but I would like to get ahead of the game. I would like to show my appreciation for how hard they have worked and send them into summer break with a small gift.
