My Project

I am a special education teacher who seeks to improve herself through professional development trainings and workshops and to continue my graduate school studies. I am in need of a laptop to realize this goal and to better myself for my students. I am planning to enroll in my doctoral degree this coming summer and I do not have a laptop to use. The earbuds and laptop will be used during the class sessions and trainings.

The laptop and earbuds will make a big impact on my classroom because I will be able to use them in attending classes to learn new strategies to apply to my students.

I will be able to design the most appropriate IEPs for my students with techniques suitable to their needs. I will also be able to engage in classes that involve classroom management, SPED laws, assistive technology for students with special needs, differentiated instructions, accommodations and modifications suitable to different disabilities, new trends in special education, and many more. I can also collaborate with other professionals and learn something from them as well. It will help me grow professionally in attending professional development and graduate classes, and I eventually improve my practices as a teacher as well as improve my students' experiences. I will be focusing on best instructional practices and carrying this out in the classroom to better support students. In our modernized world with so much technology emerging every now and then, teachers should also not stop learning and advancing to better serve the students. This project will be used as a tool for professional learning and graduate study that will benefit my students. This project will be a big help in my journey towards honing myself into a better teacher every day. Please support me in this endeavor.
