Celebrate Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month

This project is a part of the Hispanic & Latinx Heritage Month celebration because it supports a Latino teacher or a school where the majority of students are Latino.

My Students

My school is a Title I school. We have over 750 students ranging from Pre-K to 4th grade with many unique learners from many diverse backgrounds. My second-grade classroom is filled with wonderful students who love to solve problems, read, write, and interact with one another all while showing their unique personalities.

I am blessed to have an enormous classroom family of 42 students along with my co-teacher.

My Project

I want to create a new writing world for my classroom. Students need motivation and drive to become great writers. I plan on re-vamping my writing center to include differentiated work, visuals, and support for all students. Creating a warm, colorful environment with a carpet will help support the writing process.

By donating to our project, you are increasing the students' attention, writing, and academic success.

The donations to this project will help to improve my students' understanding of and competency in authentic, meaningful writing.
