Help me give my students tools to help them express their knowledge in a variety of ways - through using colorful notes, anchor charts, and posters, and by using temporary summaries of their conceptual knowledge.

My Project

Students need to write to make connections in whatever they are studying. These items help the students to write their concepts, both permanently, as well as just for the moment. My students will use these items to embellish notes in their math journals.

They will also be able to figure out answers to problems by writing the procedures down quickly, enabling them to recheck their thinking and procedural knowledge.

By using the white boards, they will be encouraged to share their thoughts with their peers quickly and without the trouble of finding pencils and scratch paper.
